Recordings - Recording Settings

Set quality, frame rate, format, countdown, and audio before you record.

Beginner3 min read

Open the Settings tab (top-right of the studio) before you record to control quality, format, and audio. The defaults — 1080p, 30fps, WebM, 3s countdown — suit most captures.

Where to find it: Left menu → Marketing → Creative Studio → Record → a recording → Settings. Part of the Recordings guide.

The Settings panel with Video Quality (720p/1080p/4K), Frame Rate (24/30/60fps), Format (MP4/WebM/MOV), Countdown (None/3s/5s), Volume, Mic Gain, Camera Zoom, and Audio Sample (44/48kHz).

The Settings tab — the quality and format of what you capture.

Video

Video Quality: 720p, 1080p, or 4K. Frame Rate: 24fps (film look), 30fps (standard), or 60fps (smooth motion / fast screens). Higher settings make larger files.

Format & countdown

Format: MP4 (most compatible), WebM (smaller, web-native), or MOV. Countdown before recording starts: None, 3s, or 5s — time to get ready.

Audio & camera

Balance your sound and framing: Volume, Mic Gain (input level), Camera Zoom, and Audio Sample rate (44kHz or 48kHz). 48kHz is the standard for crisp voice.
